Texas High School Softball - Aledo bounces Brewer

The Aledo Bearcats routed the host Brewer Bears softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Bearcats (18-2) will now prepare for their battle against Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Pirates go into the 5A Region I District 5 battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Granbury topped Rider (Wichita Falls, TX), 8-1, in a league battle.

The Bears now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Wichita Falls for a 5A Region I District 5 battle on Friday, April 8. Brewer will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Azle (Azle, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-9.
