In Friday's league outing, the visiting Buford Yellowjackets softball team scored a close 3-1 win over the Andrew Jackson Volunteers.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC) in a AA Region 4 outing, on Monday, April 4. Buford will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Braves enter the outing with a 2-4 record after their 4-2 league loss to Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC).

The Volunteers (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against North Central (Kershaw, SC). The Knights enter the AA Region 4 outing with a 1-6 record.
