In Friday's league contest, the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), by a margin of 16-8.

With the triumph, Hayesville moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Swain County (Bryson City, NC) to play the Maroon Devils in a Smoky Mountain 1A contest on Tuesday, April 5.
