Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 test, on Saturday, April 2. Angleton will attempt to improve on its 18-6 season record. The Eagles enter the test with a 5-12 record after their 5-4 league loss to Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX).

The Hurricanes (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A Region III District 24 test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Lamar Consolidated prevailed over Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX), 23-0, in a league test.
