The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish to 0 in the Monarchs league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Archbishop Mitty improves its record to 13-0 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA) to clash with the Lancers in a West Catholic game on Wednesday, April 6. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 8-1. Saint Francis lost 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Canyon (Anaheim, CA)

In their next game, the Fightin' Irish clash with the St. Ignatius Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) in a West Catholic game, on Wednesday, April 6. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 6-6 record after their 5-0 league loss to Valley Christian (San Jose, CA).
