The Beecher Bobcats routed the host Tri-Point Chargers softball squad by a count of 17-1 in Friday's league battle.

The Bobcats (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Panthers go into the River Valley battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Gardner-South Wilmington was routed by Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

The Chargers now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Illinois Lutheran for a River Valley battle on Monday, April 4. Tri-Point will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to Clifton Central (Clifton, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 0-2.
