The Comer Tigers softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Talladega Tigers to 4 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Comer improves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL) to clash with the Wolves in a 2A Area 7 game on Tuesday, April 5. The Wolves come into the game with a record of 10-8. Fayetteville won 11-4 in their recent non-league game against Isabella (Maplesville, AL)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL) in a 5A Area 8 game, on Monday, April 4. Talladega will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Volunteers come into the game with a 4-8 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Pell City (Pell City, AL).
