Spectators at Friday's league match between the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) and the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), witnessed East Gaston's softball squad prevail over Highland Tech by a count of 14-4.

The Warriors now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a non-league match on Monday, April 4. East Gaston will meet a Storm squad coming off a 2-1 league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Storm record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Highland Tech moves to 6-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Burns (Lawndale, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A match on Tuesday, April 5. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 10-1. Burns won 3-0 in their recent league match against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC)
