Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC), 14-0 in a league challenge.

The Titans now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoggard for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 4. Heide Trask will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 7-4 league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, West Columbus falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC) to battle the Stallions in a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Stallions enter the challenge with a record of 8-0. South Columbus won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Pender (Burgaw, NC)
