Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hemphill Hornets (Hemphill, TX), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Diboll for a 3A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Pollok Central will battle a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 19-2.

With the loss, Hemphill falls to 13-11 on the campaign. The Hornets host Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-5.
