The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 11-0. East Lincoln won 13-3 in their recent league contest against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)

In their next game, the Greyhounds play the North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A contest, on Tuesday, April 5. Statesville will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 13-3 league loss to East Lincoln (Denver, NC).
