New Mexico High School Softball - Valley bounces Hope Christian

The Valley Vikings routed the visiting Hope Christian Huskies softball squad by a final score of 21-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Vikings (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights go into the 4A District 6 battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Del Norte was routed by Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Huskies now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 6. Hope Christian will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 21-0 league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 0-14.
