The Pirates now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hancock County for a 1A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Washburn will battle a Indians squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over West Greene (Mosheim, TN). The Indians record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Jellico falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Cumberland Gap lost 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Union County (Maynardville, TN)
