Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lebanon Cedars (Lebanon, PA), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Pioneers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Elizabethtown for a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 challenge on Monday, April 4. Lampeter-Strasburg will face a Bears squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Conestoga Valley (Lancaster, PA). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Lebanon falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cedars host Ephrata (Ephrata, PA) to face the Mountaineers in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 challenge on Monday, April 4. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Ephrata lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Solanco (Quarryville, PA)
