In Friday's league contest, the Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA), by a margin of 5-0.

With the triumph, Santa Monica moves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) to play the Panthers in a Bay contest on Wednesday, April 20. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 7-10.
