The Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC) softball routed the host North Charleston Cougars (North Charleston, SC), 17-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Landsharks (9-5) will now prepare for their bout against Hanahan (Hanahan, SC). The Hawks enter the AAA Region 8 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Hanahan defeated Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC), 6-0, in a league match.

With the loss, North Charleston falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC) to face the Raptors in a AAA Region 8 match on Monday, April 4. The Raptors enter the match with a record of 1-5. Academic Magnet lost 8-3 in their recent league match against Bishop England (Charleston, SC)
