Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV), 12-1 in a league challenge.

The Bighorns now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pyramid Lake for a 1A Northern challenge on Friday, April 1. Oasis Academy will battle a Lakers squad coming off a 19-3 league win over Sierra Sage Academy/ROP (Yerington, NV). The Lakers record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Pyramid Lake falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV) to battle the Bighorns in a 1A Northern challenge on Friday, April 1. The Bighorns enter the challenge with a record of 7-1. Oasis Academy won 7-0 in their recent league challenge against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV)
