With the triumph, Sanford-Fritch moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Eagles host Gruver (Gruver, TX) to play the Greyhounds in a 2A Region I District 1 game on Tuesday, April 5. The Greyhounds come into the game with a record of 0-3.

In their next game, the Bobcats play the West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX) in a 2A Region I District 1 game, on Tuesday, April 5. Sunray will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Comanches come into the game with a 4-7 record after their 14-4 league loss to Clarendon (Clarendon, TX).
