North Carolina High School Softball - Union Academy can't get by South Stanly

April 1, 2022: Norwood, NC 28128

In Friday's league contest, the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) softball team held off the visiting Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 10-9.

With the triumph, South Stanly moves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls host Robinson (Concord, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, April 5. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 1-9.

In their next game, the Cardinals play the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 6. Union Academy will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record.
