Southwest Legacy Titans (Von Ormy, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Winn Mavericks (Eagle Pass, TX), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Titans now sport a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Floresville for a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Southwest Legacy will face a Tigers squad coming off a 11-8 league loss to Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 12-12.

With the loss, Winn falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Harlandale (San Antonio, TX) to face the Indians in a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 3-14. Harlandale lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against McCollum (San Antonio, TX)
