New Mexico High School Baseball - Hobbs wallops Alamogordo

The Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) baseball trounced the visiting Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM), 13-2 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) in a 5A District 4 contest, on Thursday, April 13. Hobbs will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record.

The Tigers now sport a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a 5A District 3 bout on Monday, April 3. Alamogordo will face a Knights team coming off a 14-3 league win over Gadsden (Anthony, NM). The Knights record now stands at 9-5.
