Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Beechwood Tigers (Fort Mitchell, KY) and the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY), saw Beechwood's baseball squad beat Newport Central Catholic by a margin of 12-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the St. Henry Crusaders (Erlanger, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 3. Beechwood will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY).
