The Moline Maroons baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Geneseo Maple Leafs to 1 in the Maroons league victory on Saturday.
The Maroons (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Normal Community (Normal, IL). The Ironmen go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Normal Community gained a win over Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL), 9-0, in a non-league match.
The Maple Leafs (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Redbirds go into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Metamora was overwhelmed by Washington (Washington, IL), 5-0, in a league match.
