The Valley Pirates baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Hopi Bruins to 2 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pirates (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ). The Lobos go into the 2A North match with a 1-9 record. In their last match, Many Farms was overwhelmed by Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ), 23-0, in a non-league match.
The Bruins (3-8) will now prepare for their match against St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ). The Redskins go into the 2A North match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, St. Johns Ray (Kearny, AZ), 5-5, in a non-league match.
