The Howell Central Spartans baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Lafayette Lancers to 2 in the Spartans league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Howell North (St. Charles, MO). The Knights go into the Class 6 District 3 match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Howell North edged Parkway West (Ballwin, MO), 7-5, in a non-league match.
The Lancers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Parkway South (Manchester, MO). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Parkway South edged Marquette (Chesterfield, MO), 12-0, in a non-league match.
