The Sandia Prep Sundevils baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Tucumcari Rattlers to 4 in the Sundevils league victory on Saturday.
The Sundevils (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM). The Rattlers go into the 3A District 4/5 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Tucumcari was overwhelmed by Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM), 17-3, in a league match.
The Rattlers (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Sundevils go into the 3A District 4/5 match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Sandia Prep gained a win over St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM), 14-3, in a non-league match.
