West Virginia High School Lacrosse - John Marshall can't get by Preston

In Saturday's league test, the visiting Preston Knights lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the John Marshall Monarchs.

The Knights now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Martinsburg for a WVSLA - Division II test on Saturday, April 8.

In their next game, the Monarchs face the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 4. John Marshall will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Polar Bears come into the test with a 5-0 record after their 21-3 non-league win over Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV).
