In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Winnetonka Griffins soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Grain Valley Eagles.
The Griffins (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Logan-Rogersville by Warrensburg (Warrensburg, MO), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Willard Tigers (Willard, MO) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 4. Grain Valley will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 3-6 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Central (St. Joseph, MO).
