In Saturday's non-league game, the host Hobbs Eagles baseball team scored a tight 13-7 victory over the Alamogordo Tigers.
The Eagles (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Coyotes go into the game with a 7-3 record.
The Tigers (2-11) will now prepare for their game against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 3-3 record.
