The Farmington Scorpions softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Sandia Matadors to 4 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Farmington moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league game on Monday, April 3. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 2-1.

In their next game, the Matadors clash with the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 5. Sandia will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM).
