The Bowie Bears softball team scored 27 runs and limited the host Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy Warriors to 10 in the Bears league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Bowie moves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Bears host Austin (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 4A Region I District 1 game on Thursday, April 6. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 5-15. Austin lost 17-2 in their recent league game against Riverside (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region I District 1 game, on Tuesday, April 4. Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Rockets come into the game with a 1-16 record after their 23-13 league loss to Austin (El Paso, TX).
