The Ponder Lions softball team scored 27 runs and limited the host Callisburg Wildcats to 23 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Ponder improves its record to 4-17 on the year. The Lions travel to Boyd (Boyd, TX) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 3A Region II District 10 game on Tuesday, April 4. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 7-9. Boyd lost 12-1 in their recent league game against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 game, on Tuesday, April 4. Callisburg will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Bearcats come into the game with a 21-4 record after their 12-1 league win over Boyd (Boyd, TX).
