The Danbury Lakers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Cardinal Stritch Cardinals to 5 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Danbury improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Lakers host Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH) to clash with the Golden Bears in a Sandusky Bay - River game on Monday, April 3. The Golden Bears come into the game with a record of 2-1. Gibsonburg won 11-0 in their recent non-league game against North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH)
