California High School Softball - Centennial gets by Mater Dei

The Centennial Huskies nipped the host Mater Dei Monarchs softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Huskies (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA). The Wolverines go into the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Aliso Niguel was edged by Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Monarchs now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Woodrow Wilson for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 1. Mater Dei will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 6-9.
