The Sandia Matadors softball team (Albuquerque, NM), was tipped 11-10 in Saturday's league test with the visiting Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM)

Coming up next, the Scorpions encounter the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 test, on Saturday, April 1. Farmington will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Matadors enter the test with a 6-5 record after their 22-2 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).

The Matadors (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions enter the 5A District 2 test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Farmington tipped Gallup (Gallup, NM), 5-1, in a non-league test.
