Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 17-3 in a league challenge.

The Hilltoppers now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Robertson for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 3. Los Alamos will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Taos falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to battle the Elks/Elkettes in a 4A District 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 5. The Elks/Elkettes enter the challenge with a record of 3-9. Pojoaque Valley lost 17-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM)
