The Los Lunas Tigers routed the visiting Manzano Monarchs softball squad by a count of 16-10 in Saturday's league battle.

The Tigers (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons go into the 5A District 5 battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Santa Fe was routed by West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM), 23-13, in a non-league battle.

The Monarchs now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Rio Grande for a 5A District 5 battle on Saturday, April 8. Manzano will meet a Ravens squad coming off a 18-8 league loss to Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Ravens record now stands at 8-8.
