Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Starks Panthers (Starks, LA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Pioneers now own a 27-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Welsh for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4.
With the loss, Starks falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lacassine (Lacassine, LA) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 3. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 5-6. Lacassine won 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Singer (Singer, LA)
