Oakleaf Knights (Orange Park, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host University Titans (Orange City, FL), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Bartow for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1. Oakleaf will battle a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Eustis (Eustis, FL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 14-2.

With the loss, University falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Winter Springs (Winter Springs, FL) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 8-7. Winter Springs lost 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Somerset Academy Silver Palms (Miami, FL)
