Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY), 21-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bolts now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host South for a 4A East challenge on Thursday, April 6. Thunder Basin will battle a Bison squad coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to Wheatland (Wheatland, WY). The Bison record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Wheatland falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Central (Cheyenne, WY) to battle the Indians in a 4A East challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Central won 10-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Campbell County (Gillette, WY)
