The Gosnell Pirates baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Brookland Bearcats to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Monday.
The Pirates (13-1) will now prepare for their match against West Memphis (West Memphis, AR). The Blue Devils go into the non-league match with a 2-9 record.
The Bearcats (14-7) will now prepare for their match against Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 8-6 record. In their last match, Buffalo Island Central edged East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR), 2-0, in a league match.
