The Winchendon Wapiti got by the host Cushing Academy Penguins baseball team by a count of 5-4 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Wapiti now possess a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Governor's Academy for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 3. Winchendon will face a Governors team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH). The Governors record now stands at 2-0.
Next, the Penguins face the Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights (Cambridge, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 3. Cushing Academy will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 10-0 league loss to Roxbury Latin (West Roxbury, MA).
