The Hillcrest Screamin Eagles crushed the host Marked Tree Indians baseball team by a tally of 16-4 in Monday's league bout.
The Screamin Eagles now hold a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Highland for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 2. Hillcrest will face a Rebels team coming off a 21-0 league win over Blytheville (Blytheville, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 15-3.
Next, the Indians face the Mammoth Spring Bears (Mammoth Spring, AR) in a 1A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, April 2. Marked Tree will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 16-5 league win over Maynard (Maynard, AR).
