In Monday's league game, the visiting Walnut Ridge Bobcats baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Melbourne Bearkatz.
The Bobcats (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Salem (Salem, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 3A Region 2 game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Salem was edged by Cave City (Cave City, AR), 10-0, in a league game.
The Bearkatz (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region 2 game with a 4-10 record. In their last game, Tuckerman tipped Hoxie (Hoxie, AR), 10-0, in a league game.
