In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Perry-Lecompton Kaws baseball team scored a tight 9-4 victory over the Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones.

The Kaws (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Holton (Holton, KS). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Holton was overwhelmed by Jefferson West (Meriden, KS), 10-0, in a non-league game.
