The Tigers now own a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they host Itawamba Agricultural for a 4A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, April 4. Ripley will battle a Indians squad coming off a 24-1 league win over Shannon (Shannon, MS). The Indians record now stands at 20-1.

With the loss, Alcorn Central falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Bears host Mantachie (Mantachie, MS) to battle the Mustangs in a 3A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, April 4. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 18-3. Mantachie won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Belmont (Belmont, MS)
