The Chariho Chargers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Moses Brown Quakers to 0 in the Chargers league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Chariho improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Chargers host La Salle Academy (Providence, RI) to clash with the Rams in a Division 1 (State) game on Friday, April 5. The Rams come into the game with a record of 2-0. La Salle Academy won 6-2 in their recent non-league game against Silver Lake Regional (Kingston, MA)

In their next game, the Quakers clash with the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) in a Division 1 (State) game, on Wednesday, April 3. Moses Brown will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Sentinels come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 7-6 league win over East Providence (East Providence, RI).
