The Geneva Panthers routed the host Cottonwood Bears softball squad by a final score of 16-2 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Panthers (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Slocomb (Slocomb, AL). The Red Tops go into the 4A Area 3 battle with a 12-2 record.
The Bears now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Headland for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 2. Cottonwood will meet a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Geneva (Geneva, AL). The Rams record now stands at 5-12.
