The Waterford Wildcats softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Federal Hocking Lancers to 4 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Waterford improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Southern (Racine, OH) to clash with the Tornadoes in a Tri-Valley - Hocking game on Wednesday, April 3. The Tornadoes come into the game with a record of 5-2. Southern won 13-1 in their recent non-league game against Eastern (Beaver, OH)

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 4. Federal Hocking will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Marauders come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV).
