The Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles routed the host Tarrant Wildcats softball squad by a count of 12-5 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Appalachian (Oneonta, AL). The Eagles go into the 1A Area 9 battle with a 4-3 record.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Childersburg for a 3A Area 8 battle on Tuesday, April 2. Tarrant will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Vincent (Vincent, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 11-10.
